Gary Fuhrman
Mr. Fuhrman is Chairman and CEO of GF Capital Management & Advisors, LLC.

Prior to founding GF Capital in 2001, Mr. Fuhrman was part of the senior management of Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder, Inc. ("A&SB"), which he joined in 1984. Mr. Fuhrman was a member of the Board of Directors of A&SB and shared oversight of the corporate finance and asset management businesses.

Mr. Fuhrman is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

James Taussig
Managing Director – Real Estate

Mr. Taussig has more than 20 years of commercial real estate and banking experience in both the debt and equity markets. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Taussig was with Cabot Investment Properties, LLC in New York and was a principal with the real estate private equity firm Greenstreet Capital Partners, LLC. Mr. Taussig’s previous experience included the oversight and management of the company’s real estate investments, including ongoing operating performance and dispositions. Additionally, Mr. Taussig was with Citigroup Investments. His responsibilities at Citigroup included developing real estate investment opportunities tailored to the investment objectives of Citigroup and its global high net worth clientele within the Citigroup Private Bank. Mr. Taussig originated loans, performed loan management and managed portfolio exposure for The Citigroup Private Bank in Southeast Asia while stationed in Singapore. Prior to joining Citigroup, Mr. Taussig worked for seven years for Chemical Bank in New York and its subsidiary Texas Commerce Bank in Houston in a variety of real estate related capacities. Mr. Taussig holds an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from Tulane University in New Orleans and a B.B.A. in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Texas at Austin.

Eli Klehr
Associate

Mr. Klehr joined GF Capital in 2006 and is currently responsible for sourcing, underwriting and monitoring the firm's real estate investments. Mr. Klehr graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy.

William Kahane
Managing Director- Real Estate

Mr. Kahane has been in the real estate business for over 25 years. Mr. Kahane began his real estate career as a lawyer, and practiced in the public and private sectors from 1974-1979. He joined Morgan Stanley & Co. in 1981 as an associate in the Real Estate Group of the Investment Banking Department. He left the firm in 1992 as a Managing Director, having worked in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo and London. In Los Angeles and abroad, Mr. Kahane managed Morgan Stanley's real estate advisory businesses. Mr. Kahane has been involved in some of the largest and most complex real estate transactions successfully executed, including corporate restructurings for Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical, Pacific Lighting Corporation and Regent International Hotels; the corporate dissolution of Ala Mona Hawaii Properties; strategic advisory work for California Public Employees Retirement System; and asset sales for Outrigger Hotels Hawaii, Equitable Life Assurance Society and Prudential Life Insurance. Mr. Kahane earned his MBA from Stanford University, where he was named a Mason Smith Fellow, a law degree from U.C.L.A. and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Occidental College.
